Emil J. Fenush, 82, of New Castle passed away at Edison Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, New Castle PA the evening of Oct. 24, 2010.
Emil was born Jan. 1, 1928, in Drifting, Pa., to the late Louis and Mary Zezoney Fenush.
Before retirement, he was a coal stripper and truck driver.
He served in the Army during the Korean War.
Mr. Fenush was Catholic by faith.
He is survived by one brother, Carl Fenush of Grassflat, PA; and two sisters, Anna Dudak of Clarence, PA, and Margaret Berkley of Morrisdale, PA.
He was preceded in death by his parents; eight brothers: John, Adam, Joe, Andrew, George, Mike, Paul and Steve; and one sister, Mary Gunther.
A graveside service will be conducted Thursday Oct. 28 2010 at 11 a.m. in Graceland Cemetery. The Rev. Richard Nero of Southern Care Hospice will officiate.
