Robert H. Graham

Robert H. Graham, 80, of 513 Hazel Avenue, Ellwood City, passed away peacefully on Tuesday morning, January 18, 2011 in the Ellwood City Hospital.

He was born in Zelienople, PA on April 28, 1930 to the late Homer E. and Hattie Steele Graham.

He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Ellwood City, and was a graduate of Lincoln High School.

He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.

He was a member of VFW Post #252. Bob’s family was his love.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ruth M. Wilson Graham.

He is also survived by a son and a daughter, Mark A. Graham of Ellwood City and Robin Weir of Jena, LA.

He is also survived by two brothers and one sister; as well as three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by one son, Timothy H. Graham, who died Nov.1 1977, and by one brother and one sister.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. on Thursday, January 20, 2011 in the TURNER FUNERAL HOME of Ellwood City, Sixth Street at Park Avenue, where services will be conducted at 8:00 P.M. on Thursday evening, January 20, 2011 with Rev. Peggy Suhr-Barkley, his pastor, officiating. A flag presentation ceremony will be conducted by the Veterans Honor Guard.

Burial will be in St. Marks Lutheran Cemetery, Franklin Twp.
