Albert S. Keul

Albert S. Keul, 76, of North Sewickley Township, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ surrounded by his family on Saturday afternoon, June 18, 2011 at his residence.

He was born in Ellwood City on October 13, 1934 to the late Stephen Keul and the late Virginia Mae Wiley Keul.

Albert was a graduate of Lincoln High School in the class of 1952 and a graduate of Geneva College in 1956. He married his loving wife of over 54 years, Ann Hamilton Keul on August 18, 1956. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and worked as a supervisor at the former U.S. Steel Ellwood Works for 18 years until 1975, then at Babcock and Wilcox Tubular Products Company in Ambridge for 13 years until retiring. Albert enjoyed woodworking and was a lifetime member of Providence Baptist Church in North Sewickley. He served the Lord for many years and held many offices at the church, including trustee and as a Sunday School teacher for 35 years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Carol Ours-McNutt.

In addition to his wife, Ann Hamilton Keul, he is survived by a daughter and two sons: Elaine Dillon of Ellwood City, Stephen (and Adele) Keul of Warren, OH, and Kurt (and Tina) Keul of Mechanicsburg, PA. Seven grandchildren also survive: Kate and Maggie Dillon, and Joshua, Stephanie, and Abigail Keul, and Megan and Jared Keul.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 in the TURNER FUNERAL HOME of Ellwood City, Sixth Street at Park Avenue.

Friends my also call from 10 A.M. until the time of a celebration of his life at 11 A.M. on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at Providence Baptist Church, 201 Chapel Drive, Ellwood City, with Rev. Andrew Pepe officiating and Mr. Bud Kerr assisting.

Interment will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery, North Sewickley Township.

Memorial contributions may be made, in Albert’s name, to the Providence Baptist Church Memorial Fund.
