William D. McClintick

William D. McClintick, 59, of Ellwood City, passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2011.

He was born in Ellwood City on November 25, 1951 to Norma Bleakney McClintick, with whom he lived, and the late William L. McClintick, who died September 14, 1999.

Bill was a graduate of Lincoln High School, class of 1969, and Slippery Rock University.

He was employed at the Youth Development Center in New Castle as a counselor.

Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors. He was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates, Steelers, and Penguins fan.

Bill adored his nieces and nephew and great nephews.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Bruce Eugene and Jeanne McClintick of Harrisburg, PA; and by one sister and brother-in-law, Jill A. and Mark Randza of Tallmadge, OH.

Along with his father, he was preceded in death by one sister, Amy Beth McClintick, who died at birth in 1964.

A private service will be conducted in the TURNER FUNERAL HOME of Ellwood City, Sixth Street at Park Avenue, on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at 11:00 A.M.

Burial will be in Locust Grove Cemetery, North Sewickley.

Memorials may be made in his name to the Ellwood City Area Public Library, Ellwood City Hospital, or to a charity of the donors’ choice.
