Grace I. Stich

Grace I. Stich, 74, of Fombell, passed away peacefully on Sunday afternoon, May 13, 2012 in Butler Memorial Hospital in Butler.

She was born in Camp Run (Fombell) on October 2, 1937 to the late Charles Strohecker and the late Elisabeth McCartney Strohecker. She was affiliated with Wurtemburg United Methodist Church and Mountville Presbyterian Church. She married her late husband of 33 years, Earl E. Stich on March 30, 1957. He preceded her in death on June 28, 1990. She was a member of the former Gotta Getaway Campers and enjoyed traveling, gardening, and spending time with her family and pets.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother and a sister, Lloyd and Clara Strohecker.

She is survived by a daughter and a son, Carolyn L. (and Bruce) Gallagher and Rickie E. (and Cheryl) Stich, all of Portersville. She is also survived by two grandsons, Keith and Scott Stich.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 in the TURNER FUNERAL HOME of Ellwood City, Sixth Street at Park Avenue.

Services will be conducted at 11 A.M. on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at TURNER’S with Rev. Jean Smith of Wurtemburg United Methodist Church and Rev. Donald Hurray of Mountville Presbyterian Church officiating.

Interment will follow in St. Mark’s Lutheran Cemetery, Franklin Township.
