Jerry "Fred" McKeough

Jerry “Fred” McKeough, 52, of Ellwood City, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday morning, January 1, 2013 at his residence.

He was born in Ellwood City on September 30, 1960 to the late Thomas J. McKeough and Nancy Koch McKeough of Ellwood City, who survives. He was a graduate of Riverside High School. He worked as a truck driver for 36 years, most recently for Mobile Mini in Bridgeville, and was a member of Union Goodwill Community Church in Frisco. He enjoyed spending time with his family and his dogs and was a Harley-Davidson motorcycle enthusiast. He was known for his fun-loving personality and his love of practical jokes.

In addition to his mother, Jerry is survived by his wife of over 20 years, Janna Boots McKeough. He is also survived by his daughter, Kayla Hunter (and fiancé Nicholas Matsook) of Ellwood City. He is also survived by a sister and two brothers: Linda (and William) Dallies, James (and Haeng) McKeough, and David (and Lisa) McKeough, all of Ellwood City, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, LuAnn McKeough Teapole, who passed away March 25, 2010.

Friends will be received from 4 P.M. until the time of service at 8 P.M. on Friday, January 4, 2013 in the TURNER FUNERAL HOME of Ellwood City, Sixth Street at Park Avenue with Pastor Gene McConnell, his pastor, officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made, in Jerry’s name, to the Children’s Hospital Free Care Fund.
