Margaret F. Fabian Butler

Margaret F. Fabian Butler, 82, of Ellwood Road, New Castle, passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, January 12, 2013 at Carriage Court Assisted Living in New Castle.

She was born in Ellwood City on June 17, 1930 to the late Archie Nagel and the late Ruth Cowan Nagel. She graduated from Lincoln High School in the class of 1950 and worked at Aetna Standard for several years. Margaret attended Keys to the Kingdom Church in New Castle and enjoyed attending performances at the New Castle Country Music Association. She also enjoyed playing the piano, organ, and keyboard.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three husbands: Earl Richards, William Fabian, and Edward Butler. Margaret was also preceded in death by two step children, William Fabian, Jr. and Susan Fabian, as well as her twin sister, Marjorie Main and her husband Charles; her sister Esther Howell and her husband William; her brother Donald Nagel, her brother-in-law Gail Blair, and her sister-in-law Norma Nagel.

Margaret is survived by her sister, Jean Blair of Ellport; her brother, Archie (and Francis) Nagel of San Antonio, FL; her sister-in-law Donna Nagel of Wampum; and her special friend John Illig of Ellwood City, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 4 P.M. until the time of service at 6 P.M. on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 in the TURNER FUNERAL HOME of Ellwood City, Sixth Street at Park Avenue, with Rev. Karl Moore, her pastor, officiating.

Interment will be in Locust Grove Cemetery, North Sewickley Township.
