William K. Faull

William K. Faull, 89, of Ellport, went to be with the Lord on Friday afternoon, January 25, 2013 in the VNA Inpatient Hospice in Butler.

He was born in Grove City, PA on May 5, 1923 to the late William K. Faull and the late Ruth E. Biteman Faull Wardman. He was a graduate of Lincoln High School in Ellwood City and served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. Bill worked as a machine operator at the former Ellwood Works of U.S. Steel for 33 years. He was a member and former Elder at Ellport Presbyterian Church. He was also a member of the Portersville Keenagers, AARP, and he and his wife enjoyed square dancing with the Happy Bunch Square Dance Club. Bill was a talented woodworker and especially enjoyed doing fretwork.

He was preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by his first wife, Betty L. Swope Faull on March 5, 1990, his daughter Sandra Faull Swick on December 31, 1987, and his half sister, Edna Mae Rosenberg.

He is survived by his wife, Gladys M. Stich Faull, as well as his son, Gary L. (and Mary) Faull of Lebanon, TN, his son-in-law Thomas (and Margie) Swick of Ellwood City, his grandchildren, Tammy and Daniel Swick, and his siblings Richard Faull and Charlotte Rule of Boardman, OH and Doris Werner and Gail McCormick of Ellwood City. He is also survived by two stepsons; Dennis (and Pamela) Stich of New Castle and Gerald Stich of Rochester, and two step grandchildren, Marissa Brake and Elsie Stich.

Friends will be received from 4-8 P.M. on Monday, January 28, 2013 in the TURNER FUNERAL HOME of Ellwood City, Sixth Street at Park Avenue.

Friends may also call from 10 A.M. until the time of service at 11 A.M. on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at TURNER’S with Rev. Teresa Kendall officiating, assisted by Rev. James Latta.

Burial will be in Wurtemburg Cemetery, Wayne Township.
