Dean Bradley Schotsch

Dean Bradley Schotsch, 59, of Ellwood City, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday afternoon, May 21, 2013 at UPMC Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh following a lengthy illness.

He was born in Ellwood City on December 19, 1953. He graduated from Lawrence County Vo-Tech in the class of 1971. Dean worked as a lab technician at Universal Rundle for 14 years and also as a night auditor at the Willow's Inn in Industry for nine years. He was a member of Victory Family Church in Cranberry and enjoyed metal detecting, listening to the police scanner, and watching television.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 39 years, Jo Ann Summers Schotsch, whom he married June 29, 1974. He is also survived by his mother, Dolores J. Gasser Breen of Chippewa Township; his brother and sister-in-law, John (and Barb) Schotsch of West Pittsburg, and his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Joseph (and Patty) Bognoski of Ellwood City.

A memorial service was held on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at the New Brighton Christian & Missionary Alliance Church with Rev. James Krouse, pastor, officiating.

Interment was in Clinton Cemetery, New Beaver Borough.

Arrangements were entrusted to the TURNER FUNERAL HOME OF ELLWOOD CITY, Sixth Street at Park Avenue.
