Charles W. Hall, Jr.

Charles W. Hall, Jr., 67, of Ellwood City, passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning, November 26, 2014 at Kane Regional Nursing Center in Pittsburgh following a lengthy illness.

He was born in Ellwood City on May 9, 1947 to the late Charles W. Hall, Sr. and the late Dorathea Meyers Hall. He served in the United State Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He owned and operated Country Cut Meat Market in Castlewood for ten years. Charlie enjoyed Harley-Davidson motorcycles, boating, and cars and he enjoyed spending time at his camp in Ashtabula, OH and remodeling homes.

In addition to his parents, Charlie was preceded in death by two brothers, Randy and Tom Hall.

He is survived by his children, Amy (and Ken) Gavazzi of Moon Township, Megan (and Joe) Anderson of Fombell, and Giuseppe Hall of Franklin Township, as well as five grandchildren: Joey, Reese, and Casey Anderson and Ava and Ana Gavazzi. Charlie is also survived by his sister, Cathy Wright of Fombell, and his brother, George Hall (and Tracy Coiro) of Castlewood, and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 9 A.M. until the time of a blessing service at 11 A.M. on Saturday, November 29, 2014 in the TURNER FUNERAL HOME of Ellwood City, Sixth Street at Park Avenue, with Rev. Fr. Okechukwu Camillus Njoku, parochial vicar of Holy Redeemer Parish, officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made, in Charlie’s name, to the Lewy Body Dementia Association.
