Terry A. Biddle

Terry A. Biddle, 64, of Ellwood City, passed away on Friday morning, January 23, 2015 in the Ellwood City Hospital. Although he had been ill, death was unexpected.

He was born in Lock Haven, PA on September 2, 1950 to the late Wesley E. Biddle, Sr., who died October 30, 1980, and the late Charlotte M. Beck Biddle, who died April 20, 2009. He attended Lincoln High School and graduated from Lawrence County Vo-Tech in the class of 1969. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era, stationed at Ft. Knox, KY. He married his wife of over 43 years, Linda Newell Biddle, on July 3, 1971. She survives. Terry drove school bus for Riverside School District (First Student) and also worked for the PLCB Wine & Spirits stores in Butler and Lawrence Counties. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Ellwood City, L.O.O.M. #93, the Ellwood City Hungarian Home, the Ellwood City Saxon Club, and the former B.P.O.E. #1356 Ellwood City. He enjoyed going to car cruises with his 1972 Thunderbird.

In addition to his wife, Linda Biddle, he is survived by two sons and a daughter: David Biddle, Jason Biddle, and Crystal Biddle (and Doug Fallecker), all of Ellwood City, as well as two granddaughters, Cheyenne Biddle and Olivia Gaus. He is also survived by three brothers and a sister: Wesley E. (and Kay) Biddle, Jr. of Ellwood City, John D. (and Sharon) Biddle of Kennerdell, Ardell A. (and Chris) Biddle of Pulaski, and Judy Froce of Ellwood City. Many nieces and nephews also survive.

Friends will be received from 6-8 P.M. today, Monday, January 26, 2015 in the TURNER FUNERAL HOME of Ellwood City, Sixth Street at Park Avenue.

Friends may also call from 10 A.M. until the time of service at 11 A.M. on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at TURNER’S with Rev. Patricia Cleary, his pastor, officiating.

Members of the Veterans Honor Guard are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:45 A.M. the morning of the service to conduct full military rites.

Memorial contributions may be made, in Terry’s name, to the American Cancer Society.
