Thelma R. Pelloni

Thelma R. Pelloni, 86, of the Evergreen Nursing Center, Harmony, formerly of Crescent Place, Ellwood City, went to be with her Lord on Monday morning, September 14, 2009, in Butler Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Vanport, PA on August 31, 1923 to the late Harry E. Pifer and the late Nellie Mae Hays Pifer.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, William Lemley; two grandsons, Bryan G. and William J. Kroll; a brother, Donald H. Pifer; and a sister, Edith Taylor.

She is survived by two sons and four daughters: Robert M. (and Linda) Pelloni of Louisa, VA, Richard H. Pelloni of Zelienople, Linda (and Jerry) Kroll of Forest, VA, Joyce (and Peter) Garcia of Ellwood City, Cindy (and Keith) Taylor of Whitsett, NC, and Becky (and James) Marshall of Fombell.

She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

One sister, Helen Timmins, in North Carolina, also survive her.

Friends will be received from 6-8 P.M. on Wednesday, September 16, 2009 in the TURNER FUNERAL HOME of Ellwood City, Sixth Street at Park Avenue.

A celebration of her life will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, September 17, 2009 at TURNER’S with Pastor Marvin Mayle, Assistant Pastor of Word Alive Church officiating.

Interment will follow in Beaver Cemetery, Beaver, PA.
