Virginia L. Wiley Boots

Virginia L. Wiley Boots, 80, of 172 Woodrow Drive, Ellwood City (Franklin Twp.) died on Tuesday morning, January 19, 2010 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.

She was born in Ellwood City on May 13, 1929 to the late Herbert C. Wiley and the late Mona Lewis Wiley.

Through the years she was employed by Wrights Fruit Market and by Leeds & Northrup, she also worked at Riverside High School in Ellwood City as a cafeteria worker and in the kitchen at Camp Allegheny.

She attended Lillyville Church of God, and attended Ellwood City High School.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward D. Boots, Jr., who died March 29, 2003. They had been married for 54 years at the time of his death.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded by two brothers, Larry and Lavern Wiley.

She is survived by one son, Terry L. Boots, of San Francisco, CA and Ellwood City and by one daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Russell Kuntz of Freedom, PA.

Beloved grandchildren, Stephanie Christine Kuntz, a freshman at Cornell University, Ryan Matthew Kuntz, of Freedom, PA and Melanie Santiago of Philadelphia, PA, great grandson, Cole Santiago of Philadelphia, and one brother, William R. Wiley of Ellwood City also survive.

Sisters-in-laws, Joyce Bucci and Nora Wiley of Ellwood City, also a brother-in-law, William Boots of Beaver Falls, numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and dear neighbor, Judy Shiderly, also survive.

Friends will be received from 6 – 8 PM on Thursday, January 21 and 2-4 and 6–8 PM on Friday, January 22 in the TURNER FUNERAL HOME OF ELLWOOD CITY, Sixth Street at Park Avenue.

Services will be conducted on Saturday January 23rd, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. at TURNER'S with Rev. Wayne Taylor officiating.

Burial will be in Lillyville Church of God Cemetery.
