LuAnn McKeough Teapole

LuAnn McKeough Teapole, 53, of 1435 Lark Drive, North Sewickley Township, Ellwood City, went to be with the Lord on Thursday morning, March 25, 2010 at UPMC Horizon Hospital in Greenville.

She was born in Ellwood City on June 13, 1956 to the late Thomas J. McKeough and Nancy Koch McKeough, of Ellwood City, who survives.

She graduated from Riverside High School and went on to earn a nursing degree and an associate’s degree in business from the Community College of Beaver County. She was a member of Union Goodwill Community Church in Franklin Township, where she was well-known for directing the Christmas plays. She was married to Clarence “Tea” Teapole, who survives. She worked at the Providence Care Center in Beaver Falls as a nurse.

She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas J. McKeough, on December 24, 1996.

In addition to her mother and husband, she is survived by a sister and three brothers: Linda (and William) Dallies, James (and Haeng) McKeough, Jerry (and Janna) McKeough, and David (and Lisa) McKeough, all of Ellwood City. She is also survived by her invalid maternal grandmother, Mildred Koch, and has been her primary caregiver for four years.

A nephew and three nieces: Tommy and Ashley McKeough, Kristin (and Matt) Custer, and Kayla Hunter; as well as two great nephews and a great niece, Darius, Avalise, and Bradley Custer, also survive.

She is also survived by her beloved Sheltie dog, Shy-Boy.

Friends will be received on Sunday, March 28, 2010 from 2:00 P.M. until the time of service at 4:00 P.M. in the TURNER FUNERAL HOME of Ellwood City, Sixth Street at Park Avenue, with Pastor Gene McConnell, her pastor, officiating.
