Erin Michelle Smith

Erin Michelle Shipley Smith, 52, of Darlington Twp passed away on January 24, 2024.She was born in New Brighton on March 21, 1971, to Jim Shipley and Birdie Grant Nelson.

She is survived by her husband and Brian Smith of Darlington, PA, her children; Barry Evan and Kasey Smith both of Darlington, her parents; Birdie and Bob Nelson of Darlington, her siblings; Jim and Sandy Shipley of Mentor, OH, Robyn Sodergren of East Palestine, OH, Sean and Sherry Shipley of Hyndman, PA as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was a 1989 graduate of Blackhawk High School and continued her education graduating from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh with an Associate's Degree, in Interior Design. She was known for her heart of gold, expressing herself through her creative and artistic ability and loving her kids and husband with her whole heart.

She is preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law; Barry and Barbara Smith,,one brother-in-law; Bob Sodergren and a sister-in-law; Candy Davis.

The family has chosen to hold a private service to celebrate her life.
