Barbara A Lougee

Barbara A. Lougee, 87, of New Brighton passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2023, in Guyton, GA. She was the daugher of the late Clinton and Frances (Conyne) Megill and was born August 18, 1936, in Bloomfield, NJ.

Barbara is survived by her son; David Lougee and his wife Michaela of Guyton, GA and her grandchildren; Brendan and Erin Lougee of Guyton, GA

She was a 1954 graduate of New Brighton High School. She met and married her husband, Kenneth Lougee in 1965 and were married 23 years, until his passing in October 1988. She and her husband were long times member of Park Gate Baptist Church. She was active there working in the nursery, Sunday school attendance and special committees. She was employed for 20 years with the Department of Welfare in Beaver County. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and caring friend to all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Kenneth Lougee and her longtime companion Al Bonomo.

The family will receive friends on Friday, December 15, 2023, from 11:00AM-1:00PM with a Funeral Service Following at 1:00PM at Park Gate Baptist Church in Ellwood City

Interment will be in Reformed Presbyterian Cemetery in Enon Valley.

Arrangements are  entrusted to the TURNER FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES located at 6th and Park in Ellwood City.
