Blaine G. Olinger

Blaine G. Olinger, 70, of Franklin Twp. passed away at his residence on May 5, 2022. Blaine was born in Ellwood City, PA on September 23, 1951 to the late Robert H. and Hazel I. ‘Reese' Olinger. Blaine was an avid Pittsburgh Penguins fan and fisherman, as well as being a member of the APA Pool League. He loved the company of his family and friends. He retired from the Nalco Corporation after 42 years in the shipping and receiving department. Survivors include his daughter; Darcy ‘Chad' Cook of North Sewickley Twp., grand daughters; Alivia M. and Kayla A. Olinger, Sisters; Peg ‘Bob' Kimpel of Ellwood City, Judy Clift of New York, and Thomas ‘Nancy' Olinger of Zelienople, PA., as well as Puck, his beloved cat. He was preceded in death by his wife; Frances M. Cornelius in 2003, his son; Kevin M. Olinger in 2020, and brothers; John, Ernest, Robert, and James Olinger and one sister Nancy Wallace as well as his son's dog he loved named Macy. Visitation will be held Wednesday May 11, 2022 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Turner Funeral Home located at 500 6th Street Ellwood City. Funeral services will follow the visitation beginning at 8:00pm, with Rev. Cathy Mathos, officiating. Interment will be in the Lillyville Church of God Cemetery.
