Bradley Gibbons

April 30, 1977 — February 1, 2025

Bradley Gibbons, 47, of North Sewickley Twp, passed away on February 1, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was the son of Charles and Belinda (Wymer) Gibbons and was born April 30, 1977, in Ellwood City.

He is survived by his wife, of 23 years, Lisa Gibbons of Ellwood City, his children; Eric Gibbons and Alyssa Gibbons of Ellwood City, his brothers; Chuck Gibbons and his wife Jen of Chippewa, Christopher Gibbons of Ellwood City, his grandmother; Marjorie Wymer of Ellwood City, his mother and father-in-law; Patricia and Bruce Scheidemantle along with numerous nieces and nephews.

He was a 1995 graduate of Riverside High School where he played baseball and football, and he also attended Penn State-Beaver. He met the love of his life Lisa Scheidemantle in 1999, and they were married October 6, 2001. Early in their relationship, they loved going to the movies and so much so as the employees at the theater knew them both by name. He loved the outdoors and hiking. He was also an avid deer hunter. He was also a beard aficionado, caring for it with his beard oils, beard shampoos, and beard waxes. He was very proud of it and was very happy that he did not lose it when he began his chemo treatments. He loved his beard as he loved his family caring for it just as he would his own children. He loved his family with a passion and attended every single sporting event that they were involved in. He was also a woodworker. He was a 25-year employee of Hussey Copper as a slitter operator. He was a loving husband, son, father, grandson and just a wonderful and caring individual, who was loved by all.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers; Robert Wymer, Charles E. Gibbons and one grandmother; Ruth Gibbons, one aunt; Laureen Bowman, one uncle; John Benko and one cousin; Robbie Haswell.
