Eleanor Cunningham

Eleanor M. Cunningham, 94, of New Castle passed away on Monday, February 18, 2025, at Quality Life Services in New Castle. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Edna (Yates) Usselton and was born July 25, 1930, in Youngstown, OH.

She was survived by her children; Karen Perzanowski and her husband Joe of Meriden, CT, Donna R Dorris and her husband Dan of Royal Palm Beach, FL, Kenneth L. Cracraft, Jr. and his wife Debbie of Wampum, Dennis Cracraft and his wife Kim of Meriden, CT, Linda Robinson and her fiancé Tom of New Castle, Marie Parady and her husband Kevin of Edinburg, 15 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and her great-great grandchildren. 

Eleanor attended Union High School. She was a nurse’s aide at St. Francis Hospital and Hillview Manor for over 25 years. She loved to read and was an animal lover. She also loved to shop, mostly at the Southern Park Mall in Ohio. She was Methodist by faith and was a very religious person and she loved her Savior, Jesus Christ. Eleanor was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. 

She was preceded in death by her first husband; Kenneth L. Cracraft, Sr and her second husband; Mervin Cunningham, her siblings; Herschel Yates, Edna Earlene Yates, and Edna Jean Clark. 

Inurnment will be in Tod Homestead Cemetery in Youngstown, OH.

Cremation Arrangements entrusted to the TURNER-HYDE Funeral & Cremation Services located at 6th and Park in Ellwood City.
