John Norman Shiderly

John N. Shiderly , "Jack", 74, of Ellwood City passed away, Sunday, December 18, 2022 at his home. He was the son of the late John and Ruth (Stubbel) Shiderly and was born February 2, 1948 in Pittsburgh.

He was survived by his wife; Judy (Danver) Shiderly of Ellwood City, his daughter; Dana Shiderly of Brighton Twp, his son; John Shiderly of Franklin Twp, his sisters; Darlene Applegate, Delores Maleski, Lenora Danver, and multiple nieces and nephews.

He was a graduate of Riverside High School. He met and married, the love of his life, Judy Danver, in 1977. He was an honorably discharged veteran of the US Army, serving during the Vietnam War.

He was employed with the Ellwood City Forge, as a machinist, retiring after 30 years. He was an avid fisherman, he enjoyed the companionship of his cats and working with the animals around his home. He was a loving husband and father.

Friends may call on the family from 4:00-6:00pm on Thursday, December 22, 2022 with a 6:00pm Funeral Service at Turner Funeral Funeral Home, with Pastor Dennis Arndt, officiating. Members of the Veteran's Honor Guard are asked to report to the funeral home by 5:45pm to prepare to render Military Honors.
