Luella M Wright

Luella M. Wright, 86, of Ellwood City died Sunday, August 8, 2021, at Good Samaritan Hospice, in Beaver, PA. She was the daughter of the late Howard E. and Margaret E. (Smail) Holler and was born November 28, 1934, in Distant, Armstrong County, PA. She is survived by her children; Greg Wright and his wife Linda of Ellwood City, Ronald Wright and his wife Alyson of Hubert, NC, Dwight Wright and his wife Liane of Loxahatchee, FL, Douglas Wright and his wife LouAnne of Kansas, Patrick Wright and his wife Darlene of Las Vegas, NV, Margaret Troutman and her husband Jeffrey of Portersville, Beth Surma of Ellwood City, sisters-in-law; Margaret Holler,Carole Coulter, Joyce McKinney, and Karen Holler and one brother-in-law; Jim Schultz, as well as numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Luella was a graduate of Lincoln High School. She met and married the love of her life Vance Wright on May 29, 1953, in Energy, PA. Together they had and raised their 7 children. Vance and Luella both enjoyed traveling and especially going to the beach and Outer Banks, NC. Luella was a Cafeteria Worker at Riverside Middle School and was retired,after 24 years of service. She was a member of First Christian Church in Ellwood City. She loved her very special dog, Bella. She was also a very sweet, funny, and compassionate lady. More than anything, she loved spending time with her family. Luella loved living life and always living it to the fullest! She is preceded in death by her husband of, 57 years, Vance L. Wright, her grandson; Michael J. Wright, her siblings; William Smail and his wife June, Gerald Holler, Donald Holler, John Holler, Thomas Holler, Rhoda Miles, and Carol Shultz. Friends may call on the family on Friday, August 13, 2021, from 11am-1pm at the funeral home, with a Funeral Service Following at 1:00pm at Turner Funeral Home, with Rev. Tom O'Brein, officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Perry Twp. Arrangements entrusted to the TURNER FUNERAL HOME located at 6th and Park in Ellwood City.
