Patricia Tarasovich, a beloved homemaker and dedicated community member, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2025. She was born on March 7, 1938, in Philadelphia, Patricia spent her later years in Mars, Pennsylvania, where she was deeply invested in her family and community.
Patricia's life was characterized by her unwavering commitment to her loved ones. As a homemaker, she took great pride in creating a nurturing environment for her family. She had an extremely vibrant personality and her energetic sprit spread to all those who knew her. She was renowned for her culinary skills, teaching her daughters the art of cooking and how to prepare delicious meals for their own families. Her love for cooking was matched only by her passion for coaching youth softball, where she instilled the values of teamwork and sportsmanship in countless young players.
In addition to her family activities, Patricia was an active member of her local church, where her warm heart and generous spirit left a lasting impression on those around her. Her involvement extended beyond home and church; she was a dedicated participant in the PTA, where she engaged in her children's education and championed their school community. Patricia loved going to the shore and the beach with her family, especially Cape May, NJ where they spent countless summers.
Beyond her family and community commitments, Patricia found joy in many hobbies, particularly her love for bingo, where she was affectionately known as the “Bingo Queen.” This playful nickname reflected not only her skill at the game but also her vibrant personality and ability to bring people together through laughter and fun.
Patricia is survived by her cherished children: Pam Tarasovich of Pittsburgh, Lisa Gentile and her husband Jeffrey of Evans City, and Thomas Tarasovich, Jr. and his wife Melissa of Gibsonia. She was a proud grandmother to her grandchildren: Zachary Tarasovich, Emma Gentile, Samuel Gentile, Thomas Gentile, Aiden Tarasovich, and Ella Tarasovich.
Patricia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas Tarasovich, Sr., and one grandchild, Tessa Tarasovich. Her legacy of love, dedication, and community involvement will be remembered dearly by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
