Virginia M. LeBuis, 89, of New Castle and formerly of East Brunswick, New Jersey passed away on Monday, April 1st, 2025, at Quality Life Services in New Castle, PA. She was the daughter of of the late Edward and Virginia (Smith) LaBelle and was born May 7, 1935, in Schenectady, NY.

She was survived by her children; Marjorie Sokolow and her husband Victor of New Castle, Suzanne LeBuis of New Castle, Arthur LeBuis, Jr, of New Castle, William LeBuis and his wife Noelle of East Brunswick, NJ., her grandchildren; Colby LeBuis of Gulf Port, MS, Quinn LeBuis of Bolivia, NC, Logan LeBuis of California, Olivia LeBuis, one niece; Marlene Scott of Monroe, NJ. And one nephew; Edward “Mitch” Sommers.

She was a graduate of Schenectady High School. She married, her late husband, Arthur LeBuis, upon his honorable discharge from the US Army after the Korean War. Virginia was a homemaker. She enjoyed, most of all, her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed gardening. She was a loving wife, Mother, and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband; Arthur LeBuis, and her sister; Gean Sommers.

Interment will be in Brigadier General William C. Doyle National Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ.

Arrangements entrusted to the TURNER-HYDE FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES located at 6th and Park in Ellwood City.
