William "Bill" T. Weir

February 19, 1953 — January 30, 2025

William T. Weir, 72, of North Sewickley passed away on January 30, 2025, at Pam Health Systems in Beaver, PA. He was born February 19, 1953, in Ellwood City, to the late Willard and Shirley (Kolitz) Weir.

Bill is survived by his wife of 17 years, Sue Kirkham Weir, his sons; William Weir, II of New Castle, Neil Graham of Ellwood City, George Graham of Ellwood City, two daughters; Jody Weir of New Castle, Jennifer Graham and Bronson Clyde of Ellwood City, five grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, his siblings; Vonda McElhinny and her husband Joe of Evans City, two sisters-in-law; Bonnie Weir of Fombell, Debbie Cottrell of Ellwood City, brother-in-law; Scott Kirkham and his wife Sherry of Virginia Beach and several nieces and nephews.

He attended Lincoln High School and afterwards he enlisted in the US Navy, where he served as a Combat Veteran during the Vietnam War. When he returned home from Vietnam, he went to work for Rockwell International as a machinist for over 25 years and he was then employed by Xaloy in New Castle from where he retired. He loved riding his Harley. He loved concerts, especially Alice Cooper. He also loved going to casinos and spending time with his family. Bill was a loving husband and father but more than anything he enjoyed living life to the fullest.

He was predeceased by his sister; Charlene Sowash, his brother; Steve Weir, and finally his constant companion, and dog, Bailee.


Per Bill’s wishes, his services will be private.


Interment will be in Locust Grove Cemetery, in Ellwood City.


Arrangements entrusted to the TURNER FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES located at 6th and Park in Ellwood City.
